The quoits season is underway with 5 games played. Existing and new players continue to improve as
the games progress. The team has been scoring well, with the aggregate score much higher than this
time last year. With some games being won and others closely fought; our first league match win of the
season should come soon.

The 'Black Q's' have been busy digging holes to install the solar lighting rigs. All four of the scaffold poles
have been concreted in place and the trial installation of one solar powered light has been carried out.
Initial testing of the light proved to be very good with the floodlight illuminating the entire pit area.

Bracketry has been manufactured by Don and Stuart to complete the lighting rigs; the brackets will
enable the light fittings to be removed at the end of the playing season and stored.

We are awaiting receipt of the final fixture list; the provisional fixture list is linked at the top of the
page and the final version will be updated when confirmed by the league.

Annual membership fee remains at £10. If you are selected to play in a fixture please remember to bring
along an extra £2 for match subs. This helps us provide the sustenance for the players.
