10 October 2026 QUOITS NEWS
The quoits season came to an end back in August, bringing another enjoyable and improved season for Newton Le Willows Quoits Club.
Our final two league results were:
Newton Le Willows 6 – 3 Finghall
Newton Le Willows 2 – 7 Kirkby Fleetham B
The team finished 7th in Division B, an improvement on last season, and also achieved a 5th place finish in the division's Captain’s Cup.
It has been another great season for the club, with some hard-fought matches, plenty of good evenings and, most importantly, lots of fun along the way.
Well done to everyone who took part and helped make it another successful season!
A big thank you also goes to everyone who played throughout the season, along with those who staffed the bar, provided food and supported the team. Your time, effort and continued support are greatly appreciated and make such a difference to the club.
We’re already looking forward to the new season in 2027, and hopefully another step forward for Newton Le Willows Quoits Club.
